On the 19th, Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, visited Bukyung Industry, a small manufacturing company located in Dong-eup, Uichang-gu, and emphasized this point.

In response, Mayor Hong inspected the workplace along with the city's safety and health managers, checking the preparation status for establishing a safety and health management system such as risk assessment, and examined what is essential on-site regarding the expanded application of the Serious Accident Punishment Act.
Currently, Changwon Special City is conducting the "Consulting Support Project for Serious Accident Prevention in Small and Medium Enterprises" and visiting "Serious Accident Prevention Education," and is promoting improvement guidance projects to ensure the establishment of a safety and health management system through joint inspections with Gyeongnam Province.
Mayor Hong urged, "I ask the business representatives to devote all their efforts to strengthening their own disaster prevention capabilities."
