Gyeonggawon Supports Pre-Startup and Early-Stage Entrepreneurs with Up to 30 Million KRW
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will provide up to 30 million KRW to prospective and early-stage technology startups.
On the 19th, the agency announced that this year it will select 35 promising new startups in the province with innovative ideas and technologies to support funds necessary for commercialization such as prototype development, production, and marketing, and will recruit applicants until April 8.

View original imageThe support amount is 24 million KRW for prospective entrepreneurs and 30 million KRW for early-stage entrepreneurs.
The support fields include information and communication, electrical and electronics, machinery and materials, bio and medical (life sciences and food), energy and resources, chemistry (chemical engineering and textiles), crafts and design, among others.
The agency will dispatch professional startup planners (accelerators) to the selected companies to strengthen their entrepreneurial capabilities, providing various support such as business diagnosis, customized consulting, education, networking, IR demo days, and investment consultation meetings.

Lim Jong-bin, head of the Startup Division at the agency, said, "The Gyeonggi-do prospective and early-stage technology startup support project is a representative startup support program in Gyeonggi-do that supports the challenges and growth of new startups," adding, "We will continue to strive to lay the foundation for successful startups and help them lead to commercialization through this support."
