According to Buan Maritime Police on the 17th, ahead of the full-fledged outing season and the agricultural fog season with dense fog occurring in the West Sea region, they visited frontline sites within their jurisdiction such as Chaeseokgang, Haseom, Gungang, and Gomso Port, where the likelihood of accidents is high, to carry out proactive accident prevention activities.
The main inspection items included the status of access to danger zones and restricted areas, as well as the management condition of safety facilities. If any deficiencies or parts requiring repair are found, they plan to immediately request improvements from local governments and related agencies.
Chief Seo Young-gyo stated, "We will thoroughly conduct inspections and safety management in advance to prevent accidents," and added, "We ask the public visiting the sea to also comply with personal safety rules."
