Kim Hee-ji leads with 6-under-par 66, while Cho Ah-yeon, Han Jin-sun, Hwang Jeong-mi, and Cho Hye-rim are in a tie for 2nd at 5-under-par 67, just one stroke behind, engaging in a close chase.
Bang Sin-sil recorded six birdies and two bogeys. She started shakily with consecutive bogeys on the 7th and 8th holes but changed the momentum with a birdie on the 9th hole (par 5). She then secured consecutive birdies on the 11th, 13th, 14th, 16th, and 18th holes, propelling her into the upper ranks. She is two strokes behind the leader. Bang Sin-sil finished as runner-up last week at the KLPGA Tour season opener, the Hana Financial Group Singapore Ladies Open. She is now competing for the title for the second consecutive week.
