North Korea Disbands 'Inter-Korean Organization' and 6.15 Overseas Committee

Following the dissolution of North Korea's inter-Korean organizations, the counterpart South Korean groups have also been disbanding, including the 6·15 Joint Declaration Implementation Overseas Committee.
The Choson Sinbo, the official newspaper of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan representing North Korea's position, reported on the 14th that the 6·15 Joint Declaration Implementation Overseas Committee held an interim chairpersons' meeting via video conference on the 12th, during which the dissolution of the committee was decided.

Accordingly, the regional organizations affiliated with the Overseas Committee will also be reorganized.
The newspaper stated, "At the meeting, (participants) emphasized the importance of decisively strengthening the independent peace movement in response to the severe situation, and agreed to boldly carry out anti-American, anti-Japanese, and anti-Yoon Seok-yeol struggles by leveraging the characteristics of each region and organization overseas."
