The People Power Party's Nomination Management Committee announced the results of the 6th primary on the afternoon of the 14th at the central party office in Yeouido. In Gyeongbuk’s Uiseong-gun, Cheongsong-gun, Yeongdeok-gun, and Uljin-gun, incumbent lawmaker Park defeated former Supreme Council member Kim. Former party committee chairman Lee defeated Kim Do-sik, former Seoul City Deputy Mayor for Political Affairs, and was confirmed as the candidate for Hanam-si Eul in Gyeonggi Province. Lee, classified as part of the Oh Se-hoon faction, moved his constituency from Hanam-si Gap to Hanam-si Eul on the party’s request on the 6th and ran for election.
In Busan Buk-gu Eul, Park Seong-hoon, former Vice Minister of Oceans and Fisheries and former Presidential Office National Policy Planning Secretary, won a four-way primary against Kim Hyung-wook, former National Intelligence Service Cybersecurity and Science Information Planning Director, Son Sang-yong, former Vice Chairman of the Busan City Council, and Lee Soo-won, former Secretary to National Assembly Speaker Chung Ui-hwa.
The constituencies for the runoff election to be held on the 15th and 16th have also been decided. In the five-way primary for Pocheon-si and Gapyeong-gun in Gyeonggi Province, former Presidential Transition Committee Planning Member Kwon Shin-il and former Youth Supreme Council member Kim Yong-tae will compete in the runoff. Former Gapyeong-gun Governor Kim Seong-gi, lawyer Kim Yong-ho, and former Presidential Office administrator Heo Cheong-hoe were eliminated.
In Daejeon Jung-gu, former Special Committee Chairman for Local Investment and Industry Development at the National Balanced Development Committee Kang Young-hwan and former lawmaker Lee Eun-kwon will face off in the runoff. Lawyer Chae Won-gi, a recruited talent, was eliminated in the three-way primary. In Gumi-si Eul, Gyeongbuk, former Presidential Office National Policy Planning Secretary Kang Myung-gu and incumbent lawmaker Kim Young-sik will proceed to the runoff. Former Presidential Office Public Proposal Secretary Heo Seong-woo and former Gyeongsangbuk-do Economic Special Advisor Choi Woo-young were eliminated in the four-way primary.

Meanwhile, the results of the People’s Recommendation System nomination, which received applications from the general public, are expected to be announced by the next day at the latest. The People Power Party Nomination Committee designated Seoul Gangnam-gu Gap and Gangnam-gu Eul, Daegu Dong-gu Gunwi Gap and Buk-gu Gap, and Ulsan Nam-gu Gap as the areas subject to the People’s Recommendation System. Jeong Young-hwan, chairman of the People Power Party Nomination Management Committee, said, "There is a high possibility that the results of the People’s Recommendation System nomination will be announced tomorrow."
