Boseong-gun Provides Special Electricity Bill Support for Small Business Owners
Support Benefit Up to 200,000 Won
Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do recently announced that it will implement the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' ‘Special Electricity Bill Support Project for Small Business Owners,’ which provides up to 200,000 KRW in electricity bill support for small business owners struggling due to the recent electricity rate increase.
The eligibility criteria are ▲ businesses that opened before December 31, 2023, and are operating normally as of the announcement date (February 15, 2024), ▲ businesses with VAT-reported sales of 30 million KRW or less in 2022 or 2023, and ▲ individual or corporate businesses responsible for non-residential electricity charges, all of which must be met.
The application period is until April 20 for those who have a direct contract with KEPCO, and until May 3 for those without a contract with KEPCO.
For direct contract holders, applicants only need to enter their information online without submitting additional documents, while non-contract users must submit additional documents such as electricity bills, management fee bills, or electricity payment receipts.
