Busan Port Authority First Bid Failure, Reapplication Until March 26
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Jun-seok) will reannounce the selection of a cargo truck rest area operator for the West 'Con' Phase 1 port hinterland complex at Busan New Port.
BPA announced that the bid for selecting the operator was unsuccessful once, and a reannouncement will be held for 14 days starting from the 13th.
Previously, for the same announcement, applications were accepted from January 19 to March 8, but only one company participated in the bid, resulting in failure.
There are no changes in the reannouncement conditions such as eligibility compared to the first announcement. The deadline for submitting applications and business plans is March 26 at 4 PM.
BPA will form an external review committee according to the National Contract Act to review and select the preferred negotiation candidate among the companies participating in the reannouncement bid and will announce the selected candidate.

Jang Hyung-tak, head of the New Port branch of BPA, said, “The cargo truck rest area project must be promoted on time to resolve illegal parking issues in the Busan New Port hinterland area,” adding, “We will proceed with the operator selection as quickly and fairly as possible within the scope prescribed by relevant laws and procedures.”
