Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon is drawing attention by introducing a painting by a developmentally disabled artist hanging in his office.
On the 12th, Governor Kim posted on his social media (SNS), "Disability is merely a part of diversity and potential," and introduced, "In my office, there is a painting titled ‘Massage Therapist’ by developmentally disabled artist Lee Chang-ok."
He added, "The painting expresses the artist’s heart wanting to massage the feet of the person who helps him."
Governor Kim Dong-yeon of Gyeonggi Province posted a message and photo on his SNS on the 12th.

He said, "It matched my own desire to wash the feet of the residents, so I immediately bought the painting," and added, "Not long ago, while chatting with welfare department staff, the topic of this painting came up, and the response from the staff in charge of disability policies was very enthusiastic."

Governor Kim further said, "When they expressed a wish to see the painting in person, I immediately invited them to my office," and continued, "Together with the staff, we appreciated the painting and shared the same feelings.
