Park Min-su, the 2nd Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, stated this during the briefing of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters (CDSCH) held at 11 a.m. that day. Vice Minister Park said, "We will revise the criteria for doctor placement when establishing medical institutions, calculating residents as half of specialists, to employ more specialists," adding, "As the first step, we will expand the full-time professor quota at national university hospitals, currently about 1,700, by more than 1,000 by 2027."
