'Icheon Baeksa Sansuyu Flower Festival' Held from 22nd to 24th
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City will hold the 'Icheon Baeksa Sansuyu Flower Festival' from the 22nd to the 24th in the Baeksa-myeon area.
Marking its 25th anniversary this year, the festival takes place in Baeksa-myeon’s Gyeongsa, Dorip, and Songmalli areas, which are representative Sansuyu (Cornus officinalis) clusters in Gyeonggi-do. Starting with the opening ceremony on the first day, the event features spring flower viewing along with various experiences and performances.
The event organizers have especially prepared various carbon-neutral experience programs, such as upcycling and a 'plogging' event involving picking up trash along the Sansuyu Trail, to respond to climate change.
