Venture Business Association and Gwangju City Join Hands to Create an AI Industry Convergence Ecosystem
Agreement Signed in Gwangju on the 7th
Includes Collaboration to Discover Promising AI Companies
The Korea Venture Business Association announced on the 8th that it signed a "Business Agreement for the Creation of an AI Industry Ecosystem in Gwangju" with Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 7th.

This agreement was made to create an AI industry convergence ecosystem and strengthen the capabilities of AI venture companies by utilizing Gwangju's AI industry convergence infrastructure.
The contents of the agreement include discovering promising AI companies and supporting their growth, cooperating in utilizing AI industry convergence infrastructure and available resources, and jointly promoting projects and events undertaken by both parties to the agreement.
Kim Myung-sul, head of the Gwangju-Jeonnam branch of the Korea Venture Business Association, said, "This agreement is expected to greatly contribute to the development and acceleration of the AI industry," adding, "The participation of executives from branches nationwide along with the main association is very meaningful for spreading nationwide interest and mutual growth."

Kang Ki-jung, mayor of Gwangju, stated, "With the establishment of AI cluster infrastructure such as the National AI Data Center and the commencement of the second phase of the cluster project, Gwangju will become a genuine AI company ecosystem."
