View original imageOn the 7th, Jennie and Matt Champion, a member and rapper of the American hip-hop band 'Brockhampton,' announced on their social media that their collaboration track 'Slow Motion' will be released at 2 PM on the 8th.
In the post, Jennie commented "Dreammming," and shared on her Instagram story, "I can't wait for the world to hear our song," expressing her excitement.
Earlier on the 3rd, the two hinted at their collaboration by posting what is presumed to be a part of the new song's melody on their respective Instagram stories.
Jennie and Matt Champion are known to have built a friendship after meeting at last year's American music festival, 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.'
At the end of last year, Jennie signed a contract with YG Entertainment for group activities and established an independent label, 'Odd Atelier,' for her solo career. She is currently preparing her solo album.

Jennie is setting new weekly records on the main English-language single charts as a K-pop solo female artist with the HBO series 'The Idol' OST 'One Of The Girls,' which she performed alongside Canadian star singer-songwriter The Weeknd and American actor-singer Lily-Rose Melody Depp. The song recently ranked 51st on Billboard's main singles chart 'Hot 100,' charting for a total of 10 weeks.
