Miryang City to Promote 2024 Urban Regeneration Resident Proposal Project
Small Changes in the Old Downtown ... Participation in Local Regeneration Activation
Miryang City in Gyeongnam is promoting a resident contest project for urban regeneration to revitalize the declining old downtown area as part of the urban regeneration projects in Sammundong and Gagokdong.
This resident contest project allows local residents to form teams and receive subsidies to improve the deteriorated environment or participate in regional regeneration activities such as creating brands that reflect the local characteristics.
The project areas include social regeneration, economic regeneration, physical regeneration, and other projects that can lead urban regeneration. Any Miryang citizen forming a team of three or more can participate.
Applications for the contest can be submitted in person at the Miryang Urban Regeneration Field Support Center from the 18th to the 22nd of this month. The city plans to select the contest winners in April through document and presentation evaluations and provide subsidies of up to 5 million KRW per team.
