With the active cooperation of the volunteers, the rooms, veranda, bathroom, kitchen, and refrigerator were all cleaned and organized to create a pleasant environment.
The Volunteer Center, in cooperation with local governments, continues to carry out volunteer activities such as organizing and deep cleaning homes of vulnerable groups, replacing wallpaper and flooring, home repairs and painting, electrical safety inspections, and replacing outdated electrical equipment to create a safe and hygienic living environment and improve quality of life.
Kim Sook-hee, head of the county volunteer center, said, “We will continue to promote volunteer activities to improve the living environment of vulnerable groups with mobility difficulties, and will support them to live in a pleasant environment through ongoing monitoring. We will also contribute to creating a happy Ulleung by solving community problems together.”
