Heukseoksan Natural Recreation Forest Forest House Remodeling Completed, Full-Scale Spring Vacationers Welcome
Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Myeong Hyun-gwan) has completed renovations for spring forest healing and is now actively welcoming tourists.
According to the county on the 6th, remodeling of three Forest Houses and four rooms within the recreation center at Heukseoksan Natural Recreation Forest was completed last month.
This remodeling targeted six-person rooms, improving heating and cooling facilities and restrooms, and replacing outdated appliances and equipment to ensure family users can enjoy the rooms comfortably.

Additionally, a small library where children can read and relax was created in the recreation center.
Heukseoksan Natural Recreation Forest operates 22 lodging rooms, including 12 newly built Forest Houses, and six camping decks, attracting so many visitors that there are no vacant rooms even on weekdays.
In particular, as the famous azaleas of Heukseoksan bloom and the trees within the recreation forest turn lush green, families seeking quiet rest continue to visit.
Haenam Heukseoksan Healing Forest is located at the foot of Heukseoksan (altitude 653m) in Gyegok-myeon, Haenam. It is a forest complex healing and recreation space featuring a natural recreation forest, forest campground, and a children's forest experience center within an oak tree community rich in phytoncides.
Visitors staying in the Forest Houses can enjoy healing in nature as well as freely experience various spaces and forest healing programs such as the Healing Forest Trail, Heart Walkway, Forest Playground, Children's Forest Experience Center, and Rose Garden.
