Sharing dishes and kitchen cleanliness... Ulsan City promotes food culture improvement project
Ulsan City has embarked on a project to improve food culture.
On the 6th, Ulsan City announced plans to promote various initiatives for the ‘2024 Food Culture Improvement Project.’
This project is a cultural movement aimed at establishing a hygienic, clean, and advanced food culture while practicing a balanced diet.
To this end, Ulsan City aims to establish hygienic food culture practices in daily life by supporting △ participation in the hygiene rating system △ operation of specialized projects △ establishment of a culture of serving food in portions △ creation of a clean kitchen environment.
Additionally, targeting restaurants designated with hygiene ratings, exemplary businesses, and safe dining establishments, the city plans to implement various projects such as △ support for hygiene supplies △ operation of one-on-one customized hygiene management consulting △ designation of priority zones for the hygiene rating system in areas with high resident usage △ operation of food safety guardians.
Along with this, continuous support will be provided for improving restaurant kitchen environments and seating arrangements.
Furthermore, in October, a resident-participatory food festival will be held to provide a venue where the whole family can eat, enjoy, and experience a variety of foods.
