Opening of the First Public National Childcare Center in Anseong Eastern Area

On the 5th, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it opened 'Iljuk Children's Center,' the first public national and public daycare center in the eastern region, on the 4th.

Iljuk Children's Center began its design service in 2021, was completed in October last year, and opened this month to coincide with the new semester. It is a two-story building with a total floor area of 448㎡, equipped with childcare rooms, playrooms, and teacher's offices. The capacity is 45 children and it is operated under private consignment.
About 30 people, including Anseong Mayor Kim Bora, National Assembly members Kim Hak-yong and Choi Hye-young, Anseong City Council Chairman Ahn Jeong-yeol, and parents, attended the opening ceremony on the 4th. Mayor Kim Bora said, "Continued interest from many people is needed to revitalize the operation of daycare centers in vulnerable areas."
