Kim Seok, CEO of Samwoo Construction, Donates 10 Million KRW Scholarship to Daegu Dong-gu Education Foundation
Kim Seok, CEO of Samwoo Construction (President of the Daegu City Chapter of the Korea Specialty Contractors Association), donated 10 million KRW in scholarship funds for students in Dong-gu, Daegu on the 5th.
Samwoo Construction is a construction company based in Dong-gu, Daegu, specializing in civil engineering and paving works, and was selected as an excellent specialty construction company by the Korea Land and Housing Corporation in 2014.
In particular, CEO Kim Seok is currently serving as a director of the Daegu Dong-gu Education Foundation and has donated a cumulative total of 80 million KRW in scholarship funds from 2016 to last year, and donated an additional 10 million KRW this year.

Since its establishment in 2009, the Daegu Dong-gu Education Foundation has awarded a total of 1.672 billion KRW in scholarships to 1,393 students up to last year, and plans to provide 200 million KRW in scholarships to outstanding local students and low-income students this year as well.
