A Man in His 50s Found Dead with Fire Traces in a Detached House in Geumsan
A man in his 50s was found dead in a detached house in Geumsan-gun, Chungnam Province. It is reported that there were also signs of fire in the room.
According to Yonhap News, around 11:02 a.m. on the 29th, a man in his 50s, Mr. A, was found dead in a detached house in Baegam-ri, Boksu-myeon, Geumsan-gun, Chungnam Province.
The police, who responded to a report from Mr. A's family, found Mr. A lying dead in a fire-scorched room. In the room, a liquor bottle presumed to have been consumed by Mr. A, a lighter, and cigarettes were found. No suicide note was discovered.
The police are investigating with a focus on the possibility that Mr. A died from oxygen deprivation due to a fire caused by carelessness in a sealed room, considering that there were no signs of homicide or burns on his body.
