Hoban Construction Group's Hoban Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Kim Sang-yeol) held the '2024 Hoban Scholarship Award Ceremony' on the 29th at Hoban Park Building 2 in Seocho-gu, Seoul. About 200 people attended the event, including Kim Sang-yeol, Chairman of the Hoban Scholarship Foundation, Woo Hyun-hee, Chairman of the Hoban Cultural Foundation, Kim Seon-gyu, Chairman of Hoban Group, Kim Dae-heon, President of Planning at Hoban Group, scholarship students, and Hoban Construction executives and employees.

View original imageThis year, the Hoban Scholarship Foundation of Hoban Construction Group is providing a total of 900 million KRW in scholarships to about 300 students. At the event, scholarship certificates and scholarships were awarded to the ‘Hobanhoe’ scholarship students selected this year. Hobanhoe scholarship students can receive tuition support for four years after entering university and participate in various programs operated by the Hoban Scholarship Foundation. In addition, the Hoban Scholarship Foundation plans to continue scholarship projects this year to support future innovative talents, including the ‘Local Talent Scholarship’.
Scholarship student Lim Hyeong-jun, selected in 2024, said in his remarks, “I am grateful to the Hoban Scholarship Foundation and Chairman Kim Sang-yeol for believing in our potential and giving us encouragement and opportunities to pursue our dreams.” He added, “My dream is to become a legal professional who has a positive influence on our society, and I will strive to achieve that dream to become a pillar of support for someone.”
Kim Sang-yeol, Chairman of the Hoban Scholarship Foundation, said, “This year marks the 25th anniversary of the foundation’s establishment, and I am pleased to meet many outstanding scholarship students more than ever.” He added, “I hope they will remember today as the day they took their first strong step toward their dreams and grow into leaders of our society.”

Since then, it has continuously carried out scholarship projects, talent development, and academic research support.
