Gyeonggi Office of Education Establishes Nation's First 'Talent Development Bureau'
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will establish the 'Talent Development Bureau' as of March 1, becoming the first among all metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide to do so.
The newly established Talent Development Bureau will comprehensively support education, administration, and environment creation, operating with three divisions and twelve teams: the Education Capacity Policy Division, the Administrative Capacity Policy Division, and the Talent Development Support Division.
The main tasks include ▲strengthening expertise throughout the lifecycle of the educational community ▲operating training programs to enhance Gyeonggi education and administrative capabilities ▲improving high-tech and educational research capacities ▲strengthening parental capabilities ▲and creating shared complex facilities for staff through building remodeling.

Hong Jeongpyo, the newly appointed head of the Talent Development Bureau, stated, "All staff of the Talent Development Bureau will strive to comprehensively develop future-oriented competencies required at school sites to strengthen the capabilities of the educational community," adding, "We will actively work to establish a customized competency development system for teachers, students, and parents within the province."
