The Democratic Party of Korea announced the results of the primaries for 13 electoral districts on the 28th. Among the incumbents, Representatives Lee Yong-seon, Min Hyung-bae, Kim Ju-young, So Byung-hoon, and Lee Jung-moon advanced to the general election, while Representatives Yoo Ki-hong, Lee Byung-hoon, and Choi Hye-young were eliminated. In the Gwangju region, there was a trend of 'incumbent replacement,' but Representative Min Hyung-bae was the only one to survive.

View original imageLooking at the Seoul area, Representative Lee Yong-seon defeated former Yangcheon District Mayor Kim Soo-young in Yangcheon-gu Eul. In Gwanak-gu Gap, former Democratic Party Policy Committee Vice Chairman Park Min-gyu won against incumbent Yoo Ki-hong and secured a ticket to the general election. In Gwangju Dong-gu Nam-gu Eul, former Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance Ahn Do-gul defeated incumbent Lee Byung-hoon, and in Gwangsan-gu Eul, Representative Min Hyung-bae defended his seat by beating former Blue House Senior Administrative Officer Jeong Jae-hyeok.
In the Gyeonggi region, former spokesperson of the Presidential Election Countermeasures Committee Kim Seong-hoe secured the nomination in Goyang-si Gap, incumbent Representative Kim Ju-young in Gimpo-si Gap, and incumbent Representative So Byung-hoon in Gwangju-si Gap. In Anseong-si, Yoon Jong-gun, Deputy Director of the Democratic Research Institute, took first place, resulting in the elimination of Representative Choi Hye-young (proportional representation). In the race for Goyang-si Byeong in Gyeonggi, first-term Representative Hong Jeong-min and former Blue House Civil Affairs Secretary Lee Ki-heon will face a runoff.

Additionally, in Gangwon Province, former Wonju Mayor Won Chang-mook took first place in Wonju-si Gap, and Kim Jung-nam, Chair of the Democratic Party Gangwon Province Carbon Neutrality Committee, took first place in Gangneung-si. In Chungnam Province, incumbent Representative Lee Jung-moon secured the nomination in Cheonan-si Byeong, and former Seocheon County Head Na So-yeol secured the ticket in Boryeong-si Seocheon-gun.
