Busan City Mobile Youth Shelter, entrusted by Silla University (President Heo Nam-sik), received support supplies for at-risk youth from the Lighthouse Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Jang Dong-ik).

View original imageOn the 23rd, Busan City Mobile Youth Shelter held a delivery ceremony for support supplies at the Busan Youth Comprehensive Support Center, receiving 10 boxes (80 servings) of galbitang from the Lighthouse Scholarship Foundation, enabling them to provide a warm meal to youths living independently.
The Lighthouse Scholarship Foundation, which donated the support supplies to Busan City Mobile Youth Shelter, is a foundation established by people who have been exonerated from wrongful accusations and regained the strength to live again. It supports at-risk youth to live proudly as members of society and grow properly, making this delivery ceremony highly meaningful for Busan City Mobile Youth Shelter.
Jang Dong-ik, Chairman of the Lighthouse Scholarship Foundation, said, “At the end of despair, with the help of many, I was able to see the light of hope and stand up again,” adding, “Through the scholarship foundation, I want to pass on the light of dreams and hope I received, not resentment or complaints, to at-risk youth.”
Kim Bok-hee, Director of the Mobile Youth Shelter, stated, “Like a lighthouse that lights the way so as not to lose direction in pitch-black darkness, we will do our best to help at-risk youth live proudly as members of our society.”
