Hanmaeum Hospital Donates 10 Million KRW to Changwon Special City’s ‘Raising Multiple Children Together’ Project
On the 28th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced that Hanmaeum Hospital donated 10 million won in cash for the ‘Dadungi Dahamkke Kium’ project at the city hall reception room.

View original imageChangwon City is promoting the “Changwon Citizen Love Sharing ‘Dadungi Dahamkke Kium’” project to reduce the economic burden on multi-child families in having and raising children and to create a warm atmosphere of celebration together.
The city currently provides up to 2 million won in childbirth congratulatory money and 3 million won in first meeting vouchers upon the birth of a child. In addition, separate from this, sponsors such as companies, organizations, and individuals are recruited to provide an additional 1 million won in childbirth congratulatory money through the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation for families with a third child or more.
Park In-seong, the hospital director, said, “I hope this will help families who are having and raising children, our future in this low birthrate era, even if just a little.” He added, “We will continue steady donations and community contribution activities to become a company that coexists with local residents.”
Hong Nam-pyo, mayor of Changwon Special City, said, “We thank Hanmaeum Hospital for joining us in providing economic support to multi-child families.” He added, “We will continue to strive to create a child-friendly environment by alleviating citizens’ economic burdens through various policies on pregnancy and childbirth.”
