S-Oil, Ranked No.1 Most Respected Company in Korea for 8 Consecutive Years
On the 27th, S-Oil announced that it has been selected as one of the All Star Top 30 Companies for six consecutive years and ranked first in the refining industry for eight consecutive years in the '2024 Most Admired Companies in Korea' survey conducted by Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).
KMAC selects the 'Most Admired Companies in Korea' annually by comprehensively evaluating six areas, including innovation capability, customer value, and image value.
S-Oil is focusing its capabilities on new businesses such as hydrogen along with expanding its petrochemical business. The 'Shaheen Project,' the largest petrochemical investment in Korea, scheduled for completion in 2026, is expected by the company to strengthen its profit structure and become a new growth engine that enhances competitiveness.
S-Oil is actively practicing ESG management, including carbon emission reduction according to its decarbonization roadmap, CSR activities in collaboration with social communities, and establishing a transparent ethical management system. Recognizing these efforts, it is the only Asian refining company included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) World for 14 consecutive years.

It added, "We will systematically manage our brand and continue to carry out customer-centered brand marketing." S-Oil operates differentiated consumer marketing programs such as sports marketing centered on advertising campaigns using the character 'Gudoil.'
