Hanshin Engineering & Construction Selected as Contractor for Reconstruction of Jecheon Siyeong Apartment
First Urban Renewal Project Contract Secured This Year
Hanshin Engineering & Construction announced on the 26th that it has been selected as the construction company for the reconstruction project of ‘Jecheon Siyoung Apartment’ in Jecheon-si, Chungbuk.
According to Hanshin Engineering & Construction on the same day, Jecheon Siyoung Apartment held a general meeting of the association on the 24th and selected Hanshin Engineering & Construction as the construction company for the reconstruction project. This reconstruction project is expected to be Hanshin Engineering & Construction’s first urban renewal project of the year.
The Jecheon Siyoung Apartment reconstruction project involves constructing an apartment complex consisting of 11 buildings ranging from 4 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, with a total of 1,206 apartment units, located in Cheongjeon-dong 4-beonji area of Jecheon-si. The contract amount is 313.6 billion KRW, and the construction period is 44 months from the actual start date. The project is implemented by the ‘Cheongjeon Siyoung Apartment Reconstruction Maintenance Project Association.’
This project is the first reconstruction project to be carried out in Jecheon-si. It has been evaluated as a landmark location since the establishment of the promotion committee, as it is a maintenance project promoted in an area densely packed with infrastructure. It is conveniently located near KTX Jecheon Station, which takes one hour to Seoul Cheongnyangni Station, and the Jungang Expressway, and is close to industrial complexes such as Jecheon Bio Valley and agricultural and industrial complexes, offering excellent accessibility between residence and workplace. It is also surrounded by cultural and green spaces such as the Uirimji area tourist complex, Yongdusan, Mudeungsan, and Wangbaksan, allowing residents to enjoy a pleasant natural environment.
Hanshin Engineering & Construction, which recorded orders worth 1.153 trillion KRW from seven urban renewal projects last year, stated that it expects to join the ‘1 trillion KRW club’ again this year. The order backlog for this year is expected to exceed 2.5 trillion KRW.
