Double Benefits for 'Chulcheck'... Samsung Card Launches Monimo A Card
Samsung Card announced on the 27th that it will launch the MonimoA card, which increases the 'Monimoney' accumulation rate and offers greater benefits the more frequently users visit the Samsung Financial Networks integrated financial application 'Monimo.'
Monimoney can be used like cash within the app for transfers, fund investments, insurance subscriptions, and more. The MonimoA card provides a basic accumulation of 0.5% Monimoney rewards on domestic and international merchant spending, and if users visit Monimo for 7 days or more in the previous month, they earn 1% accumulation. These benefits have no previous month spending requirements or accumulation limits.
Users who log in to Monimo for 7 days or more receive additional benefits in essential daily life categories and eligible insurance on top of the basic accumulation benefits. However, this applies only if the previous month's spending is 300,000 KRW or more.
Users can accumulate 1% of the amount spent in essential daily life categories such as travel, department stores, convenience stores, cinemas, medical services, academies, and fuel, up to a maximum of 20,000 points per month. When paying for eligible insurance, users receive an additional 9% accumulation benefit, capped at 10,000 points per month. Specific industries and products can be checked on the Samsung Card website and Monimo.
If users log in to Monimo every day from the 1st to the end of the month, they can also receive a 5,000 KRW discount benefit at Starbucks. This is provided once per month if the user spends 300,000 KRW or more in the previous month and makes a payment of 5,000 KRW or more at Starbucks.
The annual fee is 10,000 KRW for both domestic-only and international (Mastercard) versions. A Samsung Card representative stated, "We launched the MonimoA card to add the fun of accumulating rewards for users who frequently access Monimo," adding, "We hope users enjoy not only the card benefits but also the various financial services and content within Monimo."
