CEO Heo Emphasizes 'Establishing Communication Channels' After Inauguration
Yoonhong Heo, CEO of GS Engineering & Construction, has been actively increasing contact points with employees and engaging in proactive communication since his inauguration.
GS Engineering & Construction announced on the 23rd that on the 17th, a one-day skiing event was held at Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, attended by CEO Yoonhong Heo, executives, employees, and their families.
The event was held on a Saturday, primarily for executives and employees who have been working on-site for less than three years, based on applications. In the morning, participants enjoyed skiing freely, and at lunchtime, they gathered in one place for a meal with the CEO, executives, employees, and their families.
The executives and employees rode the lift together with CEO Heo and engaged in informal conversations during the shared lunch.
On the 21st, a ‘Volleyball Game Viewing with the CEO’ event took place. Participants were recruited on a first-come, first-served basis through the bulletin board, and after work, executives, employees, and CEO Heo watched the volleyball game together, cheering and communicating.

Since his inauguration, CEO Yoonhong Heo has emphasized strengthening on-site management by expanding direct communication opportunities with employees through a greeting message posted on the company bulletin board.
CEO Heo stated, “It is essential to establish channels where management and members can actively communicate, and to create work processes that allow members to voice their opinions and have those opinions reflected in business decision-making.”
