Chung-Ang University and Hanyang University Hold Forum to Share Outcomes of University Innovation Support Project
Held at Chung-Ang University Seoul Campus at 1 PM on the 26th
Chung-Ang University announced on the 24th that it will hold the '2023 Academic Year University Innovation Support Project Chung-Ang and Hanyang Joint Performance Sharing Forum' together with Hanyang University.
The forum will be held on the 26th at 1 PM in Daeshin Hall on the 1st floor of Building 310 (Centennial Memorial Hall) at Chung-Ang University's Seoul campus in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. The theme of the forum is 'Sharing and Cooperation of Educational Innovation Strategies for Fostering Future Convergence Talents.' The event is co-hosted by Chung-Ang University and Hanyang University, and sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea. The event will be broadcast live on YouTube.
Chung-Ang University will introduce its customized innovation strategies for student growth and excellent cases of university innovation. Song Haeduk, Director of the Educational Innovation Center, will give a special lecture titled 'CAU Customized Student Growth Innovation for Fostering Convergence Talents,' and Jang Hangbae, Director of the Research Office and Remote Education Support Center, will speak on 'Blockchain Technology and CAU Digital Competency Certification System.' Im Hyunwoong, a student majoring in AI, will share an excellent case under the theme 'Road to CAU e-Advisor: My Own Golden Roadmap.'
Hanyang University will focus on introducing educational innovation strategies for convergence education and cases of academic system restructuring. Ryu Hokyung, Director of Educational Innovation, will present 'Hanyang Inter College: An Unprecedented Convergence Educational Innovation,' Choi Jiwoong, Director of Educational Innovation at Hanyang University ERICA Campus, will discuss 'ERICA Academic System Restructuring and LION College Promoting Advanced and Convergence,' and Professor Oh Hyunsook will give a lecture on 'THE NEXT Normal Question-Based Learning (QBL)' in sequence.

Park Sangkyu, President of Chung-Ang University, said, "Chung-Ang University, which received the highest grade for educational innovation in the University Innovation Support Project, has prepared a place to share innovation achievements with Hanyang University for fostering convergence talents." He added, "We expect this forum to provide many implications regarding the Ministry of Education’s policy to strengthen students’ major selection rights for fostering convergence talents, as well as ways to utilize the latest edutech such as Chung-Ang University’s learner-customized growth support system, e-Advisor, in higher education innovation."
