Building a Mobility Web Service Ecosystem
Renault Korea Motors announced on the 23rd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Naver Cloud and DreamAce to build a web platform for automobiles.
Through this agreement, the three companies will develop a web platform optimized for vehicles and strengthen web applications and content for automobiles. They share the goal of establishing a mobility web service ecosystem.
The jointly developed platform will be designed to provide customized web services suitable for use inside vehicles. It will also be applied to the Aurora project, currently under development and scheduled for release in the second half of this year. The project will launch as a mid-size hybrid sport utility vehicle (SUV).

To secure content competitiveness specialized for new vehicles, marketing promotions targeting customers, such as advertisements, will also be conducted. They will collaborate on discovering new markets and expanding overseas using the new infotainment service.
Kim Hyo, team leader at Naver Cloud, said, "The web platform is characterized by high compatibility and versatility, enabling easy and stable support for various customized services without device limitations. We will enhance our web platform technology while jointly developing diverse web-based services."
Lee Se-yeon, Chief Technology Officer at DreamAce, stated, "To secure competitiveness in the rapidly advancing software-defined vehicle (SDV) market and continuously enhance in-vehicle experiences, we will move faster."
