Children Smiling Brightly at Dongdaemun-gu Smart Farm's Bountiful First Harvest
First Harvest with Daycare Children in Dongdaemun-gu Smart Farm Area
Exciting Experience Activities with Smart Farm Education Bring Smiles All Around
Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) conducted a smart farm experience activity for children at local daycare centers on the 21st.
In December last year, the district installed nine smart farms on the second basement floor of the district office building, integrating the Internet of Things (IoT) into vinyl greenhouses and glass greenhouses to remotely manage the optimal growth environment for crops.
On this day, the children at the daycare centers listened to explanations about the smart farm and experienced harvesting salad vegetables such as butterhead, Izatrix, and Batavia themselves.
