Daegu Education Audit Information System 'The-Barun' Launches ... Provides Audit-Related Data
Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kang Eun-hee) will launch the Daegu Education Audit Information System "The-Barun" on the 23rd, which was established to realize preventive audits through the provision of various audit-related materials and to support the reduction of workload for schools (institutions) by enabling one-stop processing of routine audits and contract reviews.
Last year, the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education formed a dedicated team to build an intelligent audit system and conducted consultations and research for a year to establish the Daegu Education Audit Information System. The system name (The-Barun) was selected through a public contest.
The newly established Daegu Education Audit Information System (The-Barun) provides various audit-related materials such as various audit cases, routine audit and contract review guidelines, and work procedures, enabling schools (institutions) to self-check important points and regulatory violations before processing tasks.
Additionally, routine audits and contract review tasks, which were previously handled through official documents, can now be processed in a one-stop manner through the system, including data input, audit application, review, and result notification, thereby improving work efficiency and reducing the workload of schools (institutions).
To further enhance system security, audit-related information has been digitized and encrypted. Various audit cases can be accessed in real-time, which is expected to lead to more consistent audit dispositions and improve the audit capabilities of audit officers.
