Hankyung Association Signs Agreement with German Business Association: "Regular Business Roundtables to be Held"
The Korea Economic Association announced on the 21st (local time) that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Federation of German Industries (BDI).
Kim Chang-beom, the full-time vice chairman of the Korea Economic Association, visited the BDI in Berlin, Germany. From the BDI side, Wolfgang Niedermark, director, and Fridolin Strack, head of the International Department, attended the signing ceremony.
The two organizations have cooperated since establishing the "Korea-Germany Industrial Cooperation Committee" in 1975. This agreement serves to supplement the MOU signed at the time of the committee's establishment in 1975. It includes regular business roundtable meetings for businesspeople and government officials of both countries and the exchange of opinions on global trade issues between the two nations.
