Gyeonggi-do Conducts 'Thaw Season Safety Inspections' at 26 Housing Development and Public Housing Districts
Gyeonggi Province will conduct joint safety inspections with project implementers and experts targeting 26 residential land and public housing districts within the province from the 26th of this month to the 15th of next month to prevent safety accidents during the thawing season.
The inspection targets include a total of 26 sites: six residential land development districts such as Pyeongtaek Godeok Internationalization District where land development construction is underway, and 20 public housing districts including Suwon Dangsujigu.
The main inspection items are ▲whether ground subsidence and cracks have occurred at construction sites and surrounding areas ▲slope instability such as collapse in cut and fill sections ▲installation of safety facilities to prevent accidents such as falls and drops ▲occurrence of road and sidewalk block subsidence and cracks, and pavement potholes ▲confirmation of inconveniences and complaints from nearby residents due to construction work.
Gyeonggi Province will immediately correct any issues that can be fixed on-site based on the inspection results, and if serious defects or risk factors are found, repairs and reinforcements will be carried out promptly.
