Park Myung-ki, the preliminary candidate of the Green Party, held a press conference for the 22nd general election as a candidate for the National Assembly representing Mokpo City at the Citizens' Room of the Mokpo City Council.

In his declaration of candidacy, candidate Park Myung-ki expressed his ambition to "make Mokpo truly Mokpo" and "make politics truly politics," pledging to embark on a new future for Mokpo and a bold transformation of the Republic of Korea together with the citizens of Mokpo.
His pledges include establishing a new growth engine for Mokpo through the construction of a 'Green Energy Industry Network,' promoting Mokpo as a public healthcare-centered city by establishing a medical school and university hospital at Mokpo National University, responding to regional extinction through free education at local universities, and promising citizens a bold change in the Republic of Korea through the Seventh Citizen Republic Movement.
