A report was filed that someone tried to purchase cryptocurrency cheaply but ended up having 1 billion KRW in cash stolen, prompting the police to launch a pursuit.
On the 19th, the Jungbu Police Station in Incheon announced that at around 4:30 PM that day, a report was received from Songnim-dong, Dong-gu, Incheon, stating, "People stole 1 billion KRW in cash and fled."
The reporter said, "I met people with 1 billion KRW in cash to buy cryptocurrency cheaply, but they took the money and got into a vehicle and fled." The police are tracking the suspected stolen vehicle's license plate number.
