Costco Recalls Sliced Ham Products Suspected of Food Poisoning Bacteria
Costco Korea announced on the 19th that it has voluntarily recalled the sliced ham product "Antipasto Tray" from the "Fratelli Beretta" brand due to the possibility of contamination with foodborne pathogens.
The recall applies to products sold between October 29 of last year and the 14th of this month (Costco product number #1074880).
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) became aware on the 14th, during overseas hazard information monitoring, that the product was recalled due to possible contamination with Salmonella, a food poisoning bacterium, and on the following day, the 15th, recommended Costco Korea to temporarily suspend sales of the product.
