Bando Construction Holds Excellent Partner Awards Ceremony and Safety Health Communication Meeting
Bando Construction announced on the 19th that it held the '2024 Excellent Partner Awards Ceremony and Safety and Health Communication Meeting' on the 16th at the Anais Hall of the C Convention Center in the Korea Science and Technology Center, Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

View original imageThe event was attended by Kim Yong-cheol, President of Bando Construction, Lee Jeong-ryeol, Head of the Construction Division, along with executives and employees, and representatives and employees of about 50 partner companies, totaling around 100 participants.
Based on last year's performance, Bando Construction selected 12 excellent partner companies with outstanding technology and know-how in construction, safety, and CS sectors, presenting them with plaques of appreciation, certificates, and prize money.
A total prize of 45 million KRW was awarded to five companies receiving the Grand Prize, and seven companies receiving the Excellence Award were given a total of 45 million KRW in prize money along with benefits such as preferential contracts, expanded bidding opportunities, and a 50% reduction in contract performance bonds.
During the 'Safety and Health Communication Partner Meeting' held that day, the company shared the excellent safety activity cases of Taeyoung Geon-eop, selected as the best partner in the safety sector, in relation to the expanded enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act, and discussed improvement plans for safety and health management.
They invited Attorney Jeong Won from the law firm Yulchon to provide a session on response measures following the expanded enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act, various accident cases and precedents that may occur at construction sites, urging small and medium-sized partner companies to establish basic safety and health manuals.
Kim Yong-cheol, President of Bando Construction, said, "Despite the very difficult construction market last year, thanks to the cooperation of our partner companies, we were able to complete the construction sites on schedule." He added, "Although this year will also be challenging, we will seek various support measures for win-win cooperation with our partner companies."
