Eating for 5 Hours and 30 Minutes at an All-You-Can-Eat Restaurant
"When I Scolded a Screaming Child Saying 'My Ears Hurt,' They Cursed Me and Then Pushed and Assaulted a 70-Year-Old Aunt"
A story has been shared about a child running around and shouting loudly in a restaurant, and when scolded for being "ear-piercing," the child's mother responded with profanity and physical assault.
On the 18th, a post titled "A customer assaulted a 70-year-old aunt's face" was uploaded to an online community. The author, A, who runs a self-employed business, said, "I operate an all-you-can-eat restaurant with a 2-hour usage limit, but if it's not busy, I don't specifically ask customers to leave." He continued, "A family with a child stayed for five and a half hours, continuously taking side dishes, so I politely told them it was not allowed."
A said, "As the family was leaving, a 70-year-old aunt who works in the kitchen came out to help clear the table, and suddenly the child screamed loudly, so I said, 'Your voice is ear-piercing.' Upon hearing this, the child's mother suddenly started cursing profusely and pushed the aunt with her body. Even while other staff tried to intervene, she punched the aunt in the face," recounting the situation.
Shocked by the sudden assault, A quickly called the police. "The aunt shouted for the police to be called, and the place was a mess," he said. "When I told the child's mother that I had called the police, she said I was running the business strangely." When A asked, "Would you say that even if your mother was assaulted?" the child's mother did not respond.
A added, "Eventually, the police came, reviewed the CCTV footage, said they would take the case to the station, and left." He expressed his frustration, saying, "I fully understand that the child is precious, but the mother looked to be in her mid-thirties at most, yet she treated the staff and self-employed workers like lower-class people." He concluded, "I want to close the store soon. I'm fed up. I hope other business owners stay strong."
