To this end, the two companies will form a consultative body and integrate various data owned by KHNP into Naver's large-scale AI, 'HyperCLOVA X.' They plan to promote ▲ verification of AI technology suitable for KHNP operations ▲ discovery of application tasks for KHNP-specialized generative AI and establishment of strategic directions ▲ development of work efficiency and service innovation plans ▲ construction of a KHNP-specialized generative AI platform.
Given the nuclear power industry's characteristics that require high security and safety, they are also discussing the introduction of 'Neurocloud for HyperCLOVA X,' which configures a network environment as a closed internal network within the customer's data center.
KHNP aims to enhance nuclear power plant safety and operational efficiency by using AI to guide operational support in various situations and compliance with regulations and technical standards during construction and operation phases.
Kim Yoo-won, CEO of Naver Cloud, said, "As AI utilization capabilities become important not only for individuals but also for all companies and institutions, having a specialized AI service has become essential. We will do our best to support innovation in nuclear power plant operations and improvement of work productivity through the security- and performance-verified HyperCLOVA X."
