Jeongeup-si Recruiting Students for 'Danpungmiin University' Education Program Until the 29th
The Jeonbuk Jeongeup Agricultural Technology Center (Director Lee Yong-gwan) announced on the 19th that it will publicly recruit students for the 2024 Danpungmiin University until the 29th to cultivate key personnel who will lead agriculture.

Now in its 17th year, Danpungmiin University is an educational program designed to train professional agricultural managers equipped with the ability to produce eco-friendly, high-quality agricultural products stably, as well as skills in online marketing and agricultural product processing startups.
It aims to foster core agricultural talents suitable for rational life management and knowledge-based agriculture through long-term technical education necessary for the specialized development of regional agriculture.
This year, Danpungmiin University will start next month and provide education on theoretical systems and practical scientific farming skills in the agricultural field until October.
The curriculum is organized into the ‘Low-Carbon Agriculture Course’ to protect the environment and produce safe agricultural products, the ‘e-Business Course’ to develop marketing skills using blogs and smartphones, the ‘Youth CEO Course’ for stable settlement of young farmers, and the ‘Agricultural Product Processing Startup Course’ to improve marketing and technical skills for agricultural product processing startups.
The number of recruits is 20 to 25 per course, totaling 85 across four courses. Applications can be submitted by visiting the nearest Eup/Myeon/Dong office or the Rural Support Division of the Agricultural Technology Center.
Selected students will receive a total of 13 to 18 specialized training sessions per course, including theoretical education, practical training, and field education.
