Since last year, Pohang City has been continuously promoting the Citizen Communication and Empathy Day event to communicate directly with residents face-to-face. At this event, the city provided an opportunity to share with citizens the achievements made up to last year and the future direction of Pohang’s administration.
Additionally, there was a time for communication and dialogue with residents regarding Uchang-dong regional development projects linked to Pohang City’s key projects currently underway.
During the dialogue, opinions were exchanged and responses given on matters closely related to residents’ safety and quality of life, such as the utilization plan for the Uchang-dong crematorium after the completion of the memorial park, and the Changpo rainwater pumping station installed to prevent habitual flooding caused by typhoons and heavy rains during the monsoon season.
The event concluded by listening to various suggestions and opinions from Uchang-dong residents regarding inconveniences in daily life and regional development plans, followed by responses to these concerns.
