Democratic Party Supporters Who Vandalized Rep. Park Yong-jin's Office Face Trial
Four hardcore supporters of the Democratic Party who vandalized the office of National Assembly member Park Yong-jin have been brought to trial.
The Criminal Division 5 of the Seoul Northern District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Cheon Dae-won) announced on the 15th that four individuals, including A, were indicted without detention on charges of violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment, etc. of Specific Crimes (joint property damage).
According to the prosecution, they are accused of attending a rally condemning Assemblyman Park in front of his office in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, on October 3 last year, and then vandalizing the entrance of the office.
Investigations revealed that these individuals, who are hardcore supporters of Representative Lee Jae-myung, damaged photos of Assemblyman Park and the office signboard.
