View original imageSince late February last year, Coach Klinsmann has been plagued by continuous controversies. As the national team showed poor performance in matches, he faced criticism over the lack of tactics, and his frequent overseas stays also sparked controversy.
In the recently concluded Asian Cup, the team challenged for their first championship in 64 years but suffered a humiliating 0-2 defeat to Jordan in the semifinals without recording a single shot on target. Immediately after the Asian Cup semifinal exit, Klinsmann said he would return to Korea to analyze the tournament, but after returning, he flew to the United States, where his home is located, fueling public discontent.
Moreover, it was revealed that there was internal conflict among players centered around Son Heung-min and Lee Kang-in during the Asian Cup, raising questions about Klinsmann's team management abilities.
