Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority Receives Highest Grade in Data-Driven Administration Evaluation
2023 Data-Driven Administration Status Inspection Evaluation
Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seong-hyun, YGPA) announced on the 15th that it achieved the highest grade of "Excellent" in the "2023 Data-Based Administration Status Inspection" evaluation hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The Data-Based Administration Status Inspection evaluation assesses a total of 464 institutions, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions, based on 12 detailed indicators across 4 areas, assigning three grades: Excellent, Average, and Poor.
In particular, to ensure an objective and fair evaluation, the inspection team, composed of 19 private experts with extensive experience in data-related work, thoroughly analyzed each institution's status of data sharing and achievements, as well as the level of data-based administrative operations.
As a result, the Authority received excellent scores across all four major evaluation indicators: △ Data-Based Administration Management System △ Data Sharing △ Analytical Utilization △ Capability and Culture, earning the highest grade of "Excellent."
Park Seong-hyun, President of Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority, stated, "We will do our best to utilize data to quickly predict rapidly changing policy demands and realize scientific administration, thereby contributing to the national economy and regional community development."
