Pyeongtaek City to Conduct '2024 Business Survey' Until the 12th of Next Month
Targeting 76,400 Locations in the Jurisdiction
From the 16th of this month until the 12th of next month, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do will conduct the 2024 Business Survey organized by the Statistics Korea.
The Business Survey is a national statistical survey conducted annually by Statistics Korea to understand the regional distribution and employment structure of all businesses nationwide, serving as basic data for regional development.
The survey targets businesses with at least one employee engaged in industrial activities in Pyeongtaek-si as of the end of last year. The city added that approximately 76,400 businesses are subject to the survey this year.
The survey items include ▲business operation location ▲business name ▲representative ▲address ▲establishment year and month ▲business registration number ▲organizational form ▲type of business ▲number of employees, totaling 10 items. The survey results will be provisionally announced in September and finalized results will be published in December.

A city official explained, "The survey results will be used as basic data for various policy formulations, and business information will be strictly protected under the Statistics Act."
