Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will present a 'Resource Circulation Package' made using transparent PET bottles to households moving into the area.
The Resource Circulation Package aims to prevent confusion among newcomers caused by different local government regulations on household waste disposal. The package consists of a pouch and a recycling net made from discarded PET bottles, two 20ℓ volume-based waste bags, and a guide for separating household waste disposal.
The distribution target is household heads who have moved to Hwaseong City from other cities, counties, or districts, and applications can be made within six months of moving in. However, those who moved in during 2023 can apply within this year to receive the package.

Applicants can visit the administrative welfare center of the town, township, or neighborhood office that has jurisdiction over their new address. A city official stated, "We will continue to develop various policies to encourage citizens to voluntarily participate in resource recycling and waste separation."
