"Software Reinforcement" Renault Korea Recruits Former Valeo Research Director
Renault Korea Motors has recruited a software expert from the French automotive parts company Valeo to focus on software-centric vehicle development.
On the 13th, Renault Korea announced that Regis Brignon has been appointed as the head of Renault Technology Korea's System Engineering Operations starting February.
Director Brignon previously served as the head of research at the global automotive parts company Valeo. Prior to that, he played a pivotal role as the global manager of electrical and electronic projects at the Renault-Nissan Alliance. During his tenure as head of Valeo's research center, he established partnerships with the Renault Group for electrical, electronic, and software development, and also developed BMW's ADAS system.

Stephan Deblaize, President of Renault Korea, said, "We have newly hired talent with outstanding capabilities in software and electrical-electronic systems," adding, "Along with last year's reorganization of the marketing team, including the appointment of Emmanuel Alnawakil as head of sales and marketing, we will actively work to rebound the domestic market and strengthen the Renault brand in Korea."
