LG Electronics announced on the 13th that its OLED TV has been recognized as the best TV for movie viewing by video professionals such as film directors and colorists, as well as global media outlets.
LG Electronics reported that director Lee Seong-jin, who directed the Netflix drama "The Angry People," which won three Golden Globes and eight Emmy Awards, recently praised the picture quality of LG OLED TVs in an interview with the world-renowned film review site Letterboxd.
Director Lee said, "I want to use LG OLED TV for post-production on my next project," adding, "It realizes true black and expresses colors without loss, allowing movie viewers to accurately appreciate the director's intent."
He recommended films that are ideal for viewing on LG OLED TVs, including director Bong Joon-ho's "Mother," director Park Chan-wook's "The Handmaiden," and director Paul Thomas Anderson's "There Will Be Blood." These works feature strong contrast and rich colors.
